Do you want to write Ron/Hermione drabble smut?

Do you want to be part of a competition where there is no elimination? Healthy competition, yes, but no elimination!

rwhg_ladws's first round is due to start next week and we need competitors.
The competition will run for 7 weeks - starting 26th September and finishing 7th . All competitors will write a drabble each week and points will be awarded and a league table established. Whoever's top of the table after 7 weeks, wins!

At the minute we're looking at 10 competitors but that number is up for negotiation depending on interest. Sign ups are open until the deadline of the first competition or until we have enough competitors.

Rules are in the community profile, please read them before signing up to this post.

Round 3, Challenge 11: Results

The Winner of Challenge 11 of Round 3 of rwhg_ldws and the Last Drabble Writer Standing is shocolate! :D Congratulations to shocolate for the challenge and overall win.

Of course that means that this Round's Runner Up is maybe1ce. Congratulations for making the final and many thanks for competing.

I am giving this weeks's Mod's Choice I'm giving to maybe1ce for her 'Defining Moment' Drabble. I loved the mirroring of the scene from Deathly Hallows and once it had been revealed that it wasn'tthe Deathly Hallows moment I enjoyed re-reading it knowing the twist. It was lovely :)

The 3 banners you each get are in the box.net widget below the cut and thanks again to you both for being awesome.

Thank you to everyone who participated and voted. I'll be putting up a post soon regarding what's happening next. Until then, thank you and good night :D

Step ;)

Below the cuts are the drabbles and poll for Round 3, Challenge 11 of rwhg_ldws

For the final week I asked the participants to provide a prompt and then write a drabble for both prompts submitted. The two prompts were Quidditch and Defining Moment. The Quidditch Drabbles are posted first and the Defining Moment drabbles second.

• Please mark the drabbles out of 10 using the poll below.
Participants may not vote in the final round.
• Please mark ALL of the drabbles. If you don't, none of your scores will count.
• The order of the drabbles random.

Feedback is welcome, just no flaming, bitching or the such. I'll be having words if there is. *looks menacing*

The Challenge:

Swap

I've been trying to think of a suitable Final Round challenge and I'm falling short. So I'm going to leave it to maybe1ce and shocolate to come up with a prompt each. They will then write two drabbles, between 100 and 500 words each, one drabble per prompt.

Prompt: Quidditch & Defining Moment | Word Count: 100-500 words | Other Conditions: None

Participants:
maybe1ce & shocolate

ALSO, just in case I forget to mention it in the voting post, participants are now no longer allowed to vote.

The Rules:
• Both drabbles should be between 100 & 500 words long
• Drabbles should be rated anything up to R. Please no NC-17 ratings
• Please submit your drabbles as a comment to this post, using the code below.
• Closing date for submissions is 23:59 Thursday 10th June 2010 (BST London)

Round 3, Challenge 10: Results

The Winner of Challenge 10 of Round 3 of rwhg_ldws is shocolate who wrote "Circle of Life". Congratulations! :D

This weeks's Mod's Choice I'm giving to maybe_1ce. I thought the structure and repetition throughout really enhanced it and I loved how she showed their relationship through other events. :)

The bit that sucks is that one participant has to leave the competition. This week, the participant with the lowest score is miss_daizy. Thank you for participating.

Next week's challenge will be up when I've decided what it is and the voting post will be amended to show who wrote what. Banners are in the box.net widget below. Thank you to all who voted, there was loads of you this week!

Round 3, Challenge 10: Prompt

The Challenge:

Hatch, Match and Dispatch

It's normally around this time that I make you kill either Ron or Hermione or someone close to them. Well, this week's prompt is kinda similar but not quite as morbid. This week I want in your drabbles a birth, a marriage and a death. Not necesarilly Ron and Hermione's wedding, the births or Rose or Hugo, or one or either of our favourite couple dying, but ones that they would be moved by or involved in closely. You can, of course involve them directly or you can mix and match as it were. Drabbles are to be 500 words either as a whole or three parts added together. Because last week's format was pretty strict, I'm not going to be asking for three drabbles, one each about the three aspects, but that doesn't mean you can't do it should you wish to. Any format, any pov, any tense, any genre.

Prompt: Hatch, Match and Dispatch | Word Count: 500 words | Other Conditions: None

Participants:
maybe1ce, miss_daizy, shocolate

Please note, now there are less then 7 participants, skips are now no longer allowed.

ALSO, just in case I forget to mention it in the voting post, participants are now no longer allowed to vote.

The Rules:
• All drabbles should between 500 words long
• Drabbles should be rated anything up to R. Please no NC-17 ratings

Round 3, Challenge 9: Results

The Winner of Challenge 9 of Round 3 of rwhg_ldws is miss_daizy who wrote "Falling Through Time". Congratulations! :D

This weeks's Mod's Choice I'm giving to miss_daizy. I don't normally give Mod's Choice to the winner of the round but her drabble blew me away with the different ways she used the senses in her drabble and the way she showed how their relationship changed was beautiful. :)

The bit that sucks is that one participant has to leave the competition. This week, the participant with the lowest score is lauryne78. Thank you for participating.

Round 3, Challenge 9: Prompt

Okay so it was an iced cider, a read and then a nap in the sun...

The Challenge:

One, Two, Three, Four, Five...

This time I'm gonna be mean with the format. I want 5, 100 word drabbles and the prompts are Sight, Sound, Smell, Taste and Touch, in short, the 5 senses. I'm going to be extra mean and ask that you write them in that order. Genre, plot (or not!), POV etc are completely up to you (see I'm not totally mean!). I do ask that the drabbles do be connected in some way so that they can be seen as a whole story. If that doesn't make sense, let me know.

Prompt: Senses | Word Count: 5 x 100 words | Other Conditions: 1 sense per 100 words in the order stated.

Participants:
lauryne78, maybe1ce, miss_daizy, shocolate

Please note, now there are less then 7 participants, skips are now no longer allowed.

The Rules:
• All 5 drabbles should be between 100 words long
• Drabbles should be rated anything up to R. Please no NC-17 ratings
• Please submit your drabbles as a comment to this post, using the code below.
• Closing date for submissions is 23:59 Thursday 27th May 2010 (GMT London)
